Why a stethoscope?
Most of the time our heart beats strong. Its passionate rhythm mirrors the enthusiasm we have for our job, our personal mission. However, sometimes we grow tired or the obstacles get higher and higher. Our hearts hurt for others. The problems that people expect us to fix, seem unfixable. My heart is that this website becomes a place of encouragement for you and me, too! May we take time to "re-charge" our hearts to fulfill the missions that we have been called to face.
Social Workers. Teachers. Pastors. Nurses. Caregivers. Doctors. Social Service Providers. We give, give, give, until we have nothing else to give, and then we give some more. We are the type that cares for everyone else and usually at our own expense. Sometimes it serves us well to remind ourselves that while we are REAL LIFE HEROES, we are not bulletproof. We must be strong for ourselves in addition to being strong for those we love and serve,
